Sunil Pal was born in 1975 in a middle-class Marathi-speaking family in Maharashtra. His father was an employee in the Indian Railways. He studied at Janata Vidyalaya City Branch School, Balharshah.
In 1995, when his father was transferred, he came to Mumbai. He enrolled in junior college. There he used to imitate his professors and famous actors. After college, he struggled for three years.
Sunil Pal is an Indian comedian, actor, and voice actor. He has played comic roles in many Bollywood films. In 2010, he wrote and directed a comedy film ‘Understand Emotions’ starring 51 stand-up comedians including Siraj Khan, Johnny Lever, Raju Srivastava, Kapil Sharma, Naveen Prabhakar, Ahsan Qureshi, Sudesh Lahiri, and many others.
Pal’s first major Hindi film Bombay to Goa was released in 2007, although she has played small roles in Hum Tum (2004) and Phir Hera Pheri (2006). He has also worked in Apna Sapna Money Money and has produced, written, and directed a film called ‘Avahun Ko Samjho’. This film is recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records because 51 stand-up comedians acted in the same film.
