Tim David Singaporean-Australian Cricketer
Timothy Hayes David was born in Singapore to Rod David, a cricketer who played for Singapore in the 1997 ICC Trophy. The family moved to Singapore from Australia in the 1990s where his father worked as an engineer. Due to the Asian financial crisis of 1997, he moved back to Australia when he was actually two years old and is buried in Perth.
Timothy Hayes David is a Singaporean and Australian cricketer. He played for the Singapore national cricket team between 2019 and 2020, before switching allegiance to Australia in 2022. He was part of the Australian team’s squad for the 2022 T20 World Cup. He has played for various Twenty20 franchise teams. He made his international debut for Singapore in July 2019 and played 14 T20Is, making his debut for Australia against India in 2022. He was bought by Abstract New York ahead of the 2023 Major League Cricket, which was held in the USA.
In May 2024, he was named to Australia’s squad for the 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup tournament.
