The Ekalavya Award 2024
The Ekalavya Award is given by many state governments including Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana etc. This award is given by some states like Rajasthan to native players for their excellent performance in sports or education. This award was started in 1993, although it is not given by every state government.
Odisha’s rising swimmer Pratyasha Ray has been selected for the prestigious Eklavya Award for 2024. Pratyasha won a total of six medals, including four gold, one silver, and one bronze, at the Khelo India University Games in Guwahati in February this year.
