Sanju Samson Indian Cricketer
Samson was born on 11 November 1994 in a Malayali Christian family in Puluvila, a coastal village near Vizhinjam in the Thiruvananthapuram district of Kerala. Sanju Vishwanath Samson is an Indian international cricketer who is a member of the Indian national team in white-ball formats. The right-handed wicketkeeper-batsman captains Rajasthan Royals and Kerala in the Indian Premier League.
Was part of the Indian team that won the 2024 T20 World Cup. Made his international debut in a Zimbabwe T20I match. He was the vice-captain of the Indian Under-19 team for the 2014 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. He made his One Day International debut in 2021 against Sri Lanka.
He scored an unbeaten 212 in the 2019–20 Vijay Hazare Trophy, the sixth time an Indian has scored a double century in List A cricket, which is also the second fastest double century in this format. Sanju scored his first ODI century in the third ODI of the three-match series against South Africa on 21 December 2023.
On 30 April 2024, he was selected in India’s Under-15 squad for the 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup to be held in the United States and West Indies.
