Reba McEntire American Singer and Actress
McEntire was born in 1955 in McAlester, Oklahoma, but was raised on a farm in Cherokee, Oklahoma. Reba Nell McEntire or simply Reba, is an American country singer and actress. Known as the “Queen of Country”, she has sold over 75 million records worldwide.
He has had over 100 singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart since the 1970s, 25 of which have reached the number one position. An actress in films and television, McEntire starred in the television series Reba, which aired for six seasons. She also owns several businesses, including a restaurant and clothing line.
One of four children, McIntyre was born and raised in Oklahoma. With the help of her mother, she and her siblings formed the Singing McEntire Band, which played at local events and recorded for a small label. McIntyre later attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University and studied to become a public school teacher. He also continued to perform occasionally and was heard singing at rodeo events by country artist Red Steagall.
In 2024, McEntire sang the national anthem during Super Bowl LVIII and was accompanied by deaf actor Daniel Durant in American Sign Language. In January 2024, it was announced that McEntire was creating a new comedy for NBC, later titled Happy’s Place and co-starring Melissa Peterman, who also co-starred with McEntire in Reba.
