Preity Zinta Indian Actress And Film Producer

Zinta was born in a Rajput family in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. His father Durganand Zinta was an officer in the Indian Army. When she was 13, her father died in a car accident and her mother, Neelprabha, suffered serious injuries that left her bedridden for two years. Zinta described this tragic accident as a turning point in her life due to which she soon became wiser and serious.

Preity Zinta is an Indian film actress. He has worked in Hindi, Telugu, Punjabi and English films. After obtaining a degree in Psychology, Zinta started her film career in 1998 with the film Dil Se.. and was again seen in the film Soldier in the same year.

She was awarded the Filmfare Award for Best New Actress for her performances in these films and was later praised for her role of a virgin mother in the film Kya Kehna. Later she played different types of characters and her acting and characters gave birth to a new imagination of Hindi film actresses.

Apart from acting in films, Zinta has written several articles for BBC News Online and is also a social activist, television host, and regular stage performer. She is also the founder of the PZNZ India production company, which she co-founded with her former partner Ness Wadia and the owner of the Indian Premier League cricket team Kings XI Punjab.
