Preeti Pal Paris Paralympics 2024

Pal is from Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. He suffered from cerebral palsy in his childhood and could not get proper treatment in Meerut. She trains in Delhi under coach Gajendra Singh, who is also Simran Sharma’s coach.

Preeti Pal is an Indian para-athlete from Uttar Pradesh. She competes in the women’s 100-meter event in the T35 category. He won a bronze medal at the 2024 Summer Paralympics in Paris. She became the first Indian to win a medal in a track event in athletics at the Paralympics.

In May 2024, she won a bronze medal at the World Para Athletics Championships in Kobe, Japan, and secured an Olympic quota by clocking 30.49 seconds in the women’s T35 200 m event. She missed a medal twice by close margins at the 2022 Asian Para Games in Hangzhou, China.

Earlier in March 2024, she had won two golds at the domestic 6th Indian Open Para Athletics Championships in Bangalore. In 2024, she qualified to represent India at the 2024 Summer Paralympics in Paris and won a bronze medal in the women’s 100 m T35 category. He recorded a personal best time of 14.21 seconds.
