Peter Siddle Australian Cricketer

Siddle was born in Traralgon, Victoria, and grew up in Morwell in the beautiful Gippsland region. Originally a competitive woodchopper, he began playing cricket for Latrobe Cricket Club at the age of 14. He had success, taking 11/47 in a state match at under-17 level. This was the match in which Siddle broke the Victorian State Records record held by John Scholes.

Peter Matthew Siddle is an Australian cricketer. He is Wright’s fast-medium partner, a bowling specialist, who currently competes for Victoria in first-class and List-A cricket and for the Melbourne Hornets in the Big Bash League. He played Test cricket in Australia over a period of eight years from 2008 to 2016, before being recalled for the Test series against Pakistan in 2018. He retired from international cricket in December 2019. Australia fielded a team in the ICC Champions Trophy during his time there in 2009.

When he became the ninth Australian to take a Test hat-trick and the first to do so in an Ashes Test since Shane Warne in 1994–95. He remained a regular feature in the Australian team until his league pace began to wane in 2014 when Australia’s selection began to focus on young, dynamic players.

Sydal became a vegetarian in 2012, after which he was criticized that his diet had a negative impact on his performance, which he denied. On 29 December 2019, he was declared an international saint with immediate effect.
