Salary Range: $18 – $22/hour + benefits

Power-Flo Technologies is now hiring a Panel Shop Helper to join our UL Certified Panel Shop in New Hyde Park.

Panel Shop Helper Responsibilities :

You will assist the technicians and gain experience with the following:

• Reading and following electrical schematics
• Laying out panel backplates
• Wiring panels in the shop based on a schematic
• Assembling of various electrical components
• Installing and repairing electrical equipment and fixtures
• Installing various types of raceway and cable tray systems
• Troubleshooting motor and control systems
• Performing routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems
• Adhering to all quality and safety codes
• Installing and repairing electrical equipment and fixtures
• Building Panels UL 508
• Panel assembly and box build assembly

Panel Shop Helper Qualifications :

• Familiarity with electrical equipment hand tools and other power tools
• Willingness to learn
• Valid and clean NYS driver’s license to operate company vehicles
