Nithya Sre Sivan Paris Paralympic 2024
Nitya started playing badminton with able-bodied players for fun in 2016. Later in 2019, he learned about Para games and shifted his focus to competitive badminton, and started training under coach Gaurav Khanna in Lucknow.
In October 2023, he won two bronze medals at the Asian Para Games. In April 2023, she won two gold medals at the Brazil Para Badminton International Meet. In May 2022, the Asian Youth Para Games winner also won the gold medal at the first Bahrain Para-Badminton International Championships in Manama. In December 2022, she won the gold medal at the Peru Para-Badminton International in Lima by defeating the defending world silver medalist in the women’s singles SH6 final.
Nitya Sivan is an Indian para-badminton player. She won a bronze medal in the women’s singles event at the 2024 Paralympic Games. Sivan has also won two bronze medals in the mixed and women’s doubles events at the 2022 Asian Para Games.
