Meghan Elizabeth Trainor was born on December 22, 1993, in Nantucket, Massachusetts, to jewelers Kelly (née Jacenowski) and Gary Trainor. He has an elder brother named Ryan and a younger brother named Justin.
Meghan Elizabeth Trainor is an American singer-songwriter and television personality. She joined the party after signing with Epic Records in 2014 and releasing her debut single “All About Dat Bass”, which peaked at number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and sold 11 million copies worldwide.
Trainor has released six studio albums with the label and has received numerous awards, including a Grammy Award, four ASCAP Pop LCD Awards, and two Billboard Awards. Trainor became interested in music at an early age; He wrote, recorded, and produced three independently released soundtrack albums, Meghan Trainor (2009), I’ll Sing with Yo,u, and Only 17 (2010). He began writing and producing songs for other artists in 2013.
Their music is influenced by 1950s popular music and blends the styles of pop, R&B, doo-wop, and blue-eyed soul. Outside the music industry, Trainor has provided voices in the animated films Smurfs: The Lost Village (2017) and Playmobile: The Movie (2019). He served as a judge on the television chapel shows The Four: Battle for Stardom (2018), The Vox (2020), and Australian Idol (2023).
In July 2024, Trainor collaborated with Paul Russell on the song “Chasin'” and with Hilton on the song “Chasin'”. In support of Timeless, he embarked on his first headlining concert tour in seven years, The Timeless Tour, in September 2024.
