Lifetime Achievement Award 2024 Rahul Dravid
Dravid was born in a Maratha family living in Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka. His ancestors were Iyyars of Thanjavur. Rahul Sharad Dravid is one of the most experienced players of the Indian cricket team, he has been a regular member of it since 1996. In October 2005, he was appointed as the captain of the Indian cricket team and resigned from the post in September 2007.
The Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Rahul Dravid, former Indian cricket captain and current coach of the Indian men’s cricket team.
After representing India for 16 years, he retired from all forms of international and national cricket in March 2012. Currently, he serves as the head coach of the Indian cricket team.
Dravid was honored as one of the five Wisden Cricketers of the Year in 2000. Dravid was awarded the ICC Player of the Year and Test Player of the Year awards at the inaugural awards ceremony in 2004.
