KK Indian Playback Singer
KK wanted to become a doctor in his childhood. He made his debut when he was in the second grade. He soon started being used by various advertising agencies in Delhi for his versatile voice. He also formed a rock band with his friends. Famous singer Kishore Kumar and music director RD Burman influenced KK a lot. After graduating in commerce from Delhi University, KK spent eight months as a marketing executive in the hotel industry.
Krishnakumar Kunnath Born: 23 August 1968 (Delhi), and Died 31 May 2022 (Kolkata) Age – Estimated 53 years. Krishna Kumar Kunnath was popularly known as “KK”. He was a successful Indian playback singer. He was a leading singer in Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Tamil films.
KK will always be remembered in the history of Indian music for his beautiful and melodious voice. KK sang more than 700 songs throughout his career, almost all of which proved to be hits in their time. He was born in Delhi. He was born in a Malayali family to CS Nair (father) and Kanakavalli (mother). Krishna Kumar (KK) grew up in New Delhi. Before her Bollywood break, she sang for around 3,500 commercials. He was an alumnus of Mount St. Mary’s School, Delhi.
He also sang the song “Josh of India” to support the Indian cricket team during the 1999 Cricket World Cup. Subsequently, he released the album Paal, which received the Star Screen Award for Best Solo Album. Two songs of this album ‘Pal’ and ‘Yaaron’ became quite popular.
