Jordan Addison American American Football Wide Receiver
Edison attended Tuscarora High School in Frederick, Maryland. He played wide receiver, quarterback, and defensive back in high school. He attended the University of Pittsburgh to play college football. Jordan Lee Addison is an American professional football wide receiver for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League (NFL). Before playing the next season at USC, he played college football for the Pittsburgh Panthers, where he won the 2021 Fred Biletnikoff Award. Addison was selected by the Vikings in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft.
Addison played in 10 games as a true freshman at Pittsburgh in 2020 and started in eight. He led the team with 60 receptions for 666 yards and four touchdowns. He returned to Pittsburgh as a starter in 2021. In 2021, he led college football with 17 touchdown receptions in the 2021 regular season, while catching 100 passes for 1,593 yards. He earned unanimous All-American honors and won the 2021 Fred Biletnikoff Award.
Shortly before midnight on July 12, 2024, Addison was arrested near Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. At the time of his arrest, California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers found Edison asleep at the wheel. His car blocked the traffic lane. He was arrested after a 30-minute investigation.
He was then released from custody two hours later on July 13, with no charges filed yet. Despite this, Edison was still facing DUI charges. On July 31, 2024, Edison will be charged with two misdemeanor counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a blood-alcohol content over .08 percent, California’s legal limit. His arraignment and plea hearing have been scheduled for October 7, 2024, in Los Angeles Superior Court.
