Jesse Grupper Paris Olympic 2024
Gruper was born on January 6, 1997, in New York City to Jonathan and Kathy Gruper, and her hometown is Upper Montclair, New Jersey. He is Jewish and he and his family attend Montclair’s Reconstructionist B’nai Keshet Synagogue, where Grupper commemorated his bar mitzvah. Ruth and Edward Gruper, his grandparents, helped establish the Rockland County, New York, New City Jewish Center Conservative Museum.
Jesse Gropper is an American Olympic rock climber who competes in competitive rock climbing. In 2022, GroupR Climbing came third overall in lead climbing instruction at the 2022 IFSC Climbing World Cup. He won gold medals in guided bouldering and lead climbing at the 2023 Pan American Championships. Grouper will race for the United States in the men’s combined event at the 2024 Paris Olympics on August 5, 7 and 9, 2024.
