India Under-19 Asia Cup
The last few months have been going great for Tamil Nadu’s C Andhra Siddharth. The state team joined the latter for the first time earlier this year, the middle This middle-order batsman has consistently performed well and has scored four consecutive wickets in the last four innings.
The 18-year-old has been included in the India Under-19 squad for the first time as the BCCI announced the squad for the ACC Men’s Under-19 Asia Cup 2024 in Dubai. India will start its campaign against Pakistan on 30 November.
On Thursday, Siddharth also scored 78 runs and stitched a good partnership with Pradosh Ranjan Paul as Tamil Nadu took a lead of 95 runs at the end of the second day of the ongoing Group D Elite Ranji match against Railways.
Before the start of the Ranji season, Siddharth was a part of the four-time Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) champion Chepauk Super Gillies team. Other TN players on the list include 16-year-old Pranav Raghavendra and D Deepesh.
