Christopher Nolan British-American Filmmaker
Nolan was born on 30 July 1970 in London. Her British father, Brendan James Nolen, was an advertising executive and her American mother, Christina (née Jensen), was a flight publicist and English teacher. Christopher “Edward” Nolan is an English-American film director, writer, and producer. He is considered one of the most commercially successful directors in history, and one of the most highly successful and admired filmmakers of the 21st century.
He made his directorial debut with Following (1998), but it was Nolen’s second film, Memento (2000), that brought him attention. The success of his independently produced films led to Nolan next starring in the big-budget films Insomnia (2002) and the mystery-drama Prime the Prestige.
Nolen’s films draw on a variety of themes such as scripture, social science and ethical theory, humanity’s quest for virtue, chronology, and the malleable nature of memories and personal identity. His works include the expression of the classical relationship between temporal changes, spiritualistic viewpoint, non-linear stories, practical special incidents, and visual, cosmic, marine, and emotional descriptions.
