Anna Kendrick American Actress

Kendrick was born on August 9, 1985, in Portland, Maine, the daughter of accountant Janice (née Cook) and history teacher William Kendrick. She is of English, Irish and Scottish descent. He began performing in community theater at the age of six. His elder brother, Michael (born 1983), is also an actor; He appeared in the drama film Looking for an Echo (2000). He attended Deering High School.

Anna Cook Kendricka is an American actress. Known for her spirited and lovable roles in comedies and musicals, Jane’s nominations include nominations for an Academy Award, a Tony Award, and a Primetime Emmy Award. Kendricka’s first starring role was in the 1998 Broadway short High Society, for which she was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Drama Series.

She made her film acting debut and played a supporting role in TVLight Saga (2008–2011). She achieved widespread recognition for the comedy-drama film Up in the Air (2009), which earned her an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress, and her role in the Pitch Effect film series (2012–2017).
