Ankita Bhakat Paris Olympic 2024
Bhakta was born on 17 June 1998 in Kolkata, West Bengal, the daughter of Shantanu Bhakta, a milkman. He was born in Pali-Bari, Kolkata, where he learned archery at the age of ten. Subsequently, he joined the Calcutta Aeronautics Club, where he received his initial training. Later, she was selected to join the Archery Academy in Kota in 2014, where she trained under Votar Tiwari, Purnima Mahato, and Ram Aadesh. is an Indian recurve archer, currently ranked 20th by the World Archery Federation.
She is a member of the Indian national recurve team and competes in international events in the women’s individual, women’s team, and mixed team recurve categories. He competed at the 2017 World Archery Youth Championships held in Rosario, Argentina, and won the gold medal in the recurve junior mixed team event with his partner Jameson Singh Ningthoujam. Born and brought up in Kolkata, Bhakta started archery at the age of ten. Subsequently, he attended the Calcutta Archery Club for initial training. Later, in 2014, she moved to Tata Archery Academy in Jamshedpur.
