Amy Adams American Actress
Adams was born in Vicenza, Italy, the fourth of seven children of American parents Katherine (née Hicken) and Richard Adams. He has four brothers and two sisters. Amy Lou Adams is an American actress and singer. Adams had already made her acting debut in theater at the Dyer Theater before making her Parade debut in the 1999 black comedy film Drop Dead Gorgeous.
After making several guest appearances on television and roles in B movies, she landed the role of Brenda Strang in Catch Me If You Could in 2002, but her first successful role was in the 2005 film Juneteenth. Ashley Johnston had an important role, for which she also received critical respect and a nomination for Best Supporting Actress at the Academy Award.
Adams starred alongside Emily Blunt and Alan Erkin in the 2008 film Sunshine Cleaning. She has since portrayed Amelia Earhart in the 2009 film Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian and author Julie Powell in Julie & Julia.
