Akash Deep Indian Cricketer
His father Ramji Singh was a teacher in a government school in Sasaram, Bihar. Due to his interest in playing cricket more than his studies, he faced opposition from his parents and neighbors in Bihar. The time when Bihar Cricket Association was suspended. Akash Deep is an Indian cricketer. He plays for Bengal in domestic cricket and for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL. He made his international Test debut on 23 February 2024 in the fourth Test against England. He also played in the Bengal Pro T20 League held in June this year. Despite severe dengue fever, he played 3 matches.
Akash Deep replaced the injured Shivam Mavi in India’s squad for the 2022 Asian Games. In November 2023, he was included in India’s ODI squad for the series against South Africa in South Africa as an injury replacement for Deepak Chahar, but he did not play in any matches.
In February 2024, he received his first Test call-up for the last three Test matches for the home Test series against England. He received the news of his Test call-up while he was busy playing the 2023-24 Ranji Trophy representing Bengal.
