ABP Ananda TV Channel
ABP Anand is a national Bengali news channel in India. This channel is a joint production of Star TV and Anandabazar Patrika. It began broadcasting as a 24-hour free-to-air channel on 1 June 2005. Apart from setting a benchmark in local language news coverage, ABP Anand started a tradition of influential management and in-depth and analytical news coverage across Bengali, pan-India, and global news coverage.
ABP Anand is broadcast by Media Content and Communication Services India Private Limited (MCCS), a 74:26 joint venture between ABPTV, 100% owned by Anandabazar Group, and Star News Broadcasting Limited, wholly owned by Star Group. Which are the two biggest brands.
ABP Ananda is a free-to-air Bengali news channel based in Kolkata, West Bengal owned by ABP Group. Founded on 1 June 2005 as Star Ananda, a joint venture between Star India and the ABP Group, the channel was renamed ABP Ananda on 1 June 2012 after the ABP Group acquired full control of the organization.
