Narendra Modi was born on 17 September 1950 in a middle-class family of Hiraben Modi and Damodardas Moolchand Modi in Vadnagar village in Mahesana district of the then Bombay state. He was the third of six children born. Modi’s family belonged to the ‘Modh-Ghanchi-Teli’ community, which is classified as Other Backward Class by the Government of India.
Narendra Damodardas Modi has become the Prime Minister of India for the third consecutive time from 26 May 2014 and has also been elected as Lok Sabha MP from Varanasi.
He is the first person born in independent India to hold the office of Prime Minister of India. Earlier, he was the Chief Minister of Gujarat state from 7 October 2001 to 22 May 2014. Modi is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), a right-wing Hindu nationalist paramilitary organization. Organization.

Narendra Modi became Prime Minister for the third consecutive time by taking oath on 9 June 2024. After taking the oath, he became the first non-Congress Prime Minister since 1962 to become Prime Minister for the third consecutive time and equaled Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.
