Abhishek Manu Singhvi was born in Jodhpur, Rajasthan to Kamla and Lakshmi Mal Singhvi, his father was a renowned lawyer and former High Commissioner of India to Britain and was from the Bharatiya Janata Party. Abhishek Manu Singhvi is one of the leading lawyers in India. He was the youngest nominated senior advocate of the Supreme Court of India. He was also a former Additional Solicitor General of India. He has been seen in some of the most high-profile cases in recent history. He wrote a column titled “Candid Corner” for Hindustan Times.
Presently he is the spokesperson of the Congress Party. And is also a Rajya Sabha MP.
