Prithviraj Tondaiman Paris Olympic 2024
Prithviraj belongs to the royal family of Pudukottai. Prithviraj first held an airgun rifle at the age of 5. He used to shoot bottles and cans and after a few years, he started shooting from reasonable distances.
Prithviraj has represented Tamil Nadu in shooting at the national level. Prithviraj’s professional shooting journey started at the age of 15. He got his inspiration for shooting from his father, who was a skeet shooter and a member of the Indian team in the 1990s. Prithviraj Tondaiman is an Indian sports shooter. He competes in the trap discipline.
He is part of the Indian shooting team at the 2022 Asian Games, in Hangzhou, China.
2023: In July, he won a bronze medal in the men’s trap event at the ISSF World Cup Shotgun in Lonato, Italy. He is the only Indian to win a medal in this event.
2023: In March, he won a bronze medal at the ISSF Shotgun World Cup in Doha.
